Belfast Tango Festival

24th - 26th June 2016

'Titango' is back in June 2016. Belfast's annual International Tango Festival will feature the crème de la crème of tango teachers and DJs in the Crescent Arts Centre.

Have a great tango weekend in one of Europe's friendliest cities with the possibility of also visiting some of Belfast's great attractions.

For this year's festival we are delighted to welcome Fabián Peralta & Josefina Bermudez  who headlined our first Festival in 2012, and our fantastic teachers and stunning dancers Pablo Velez & Daniela Kizyma, who amazed us last year both with their teaching and perfomances.

In addition to their workshops and performances we again will be providing a free Taster Class for people who wish to try out tango.  No experience or partner is necessary in the class that will be taken by one of our main Ireland resident teachers Monina Paz and her current partner Diego Martinez Córdova.

This year our DJs will be Enrique "El Lora" Ringa (Argentina) and Johann Steyn (South Africa) who have both DJ'd all over the world

If you would like to try tango then why not sign up with your friends to our Free Tango Taster Class which will take place on Friday 24th June at 6pm. The lesson will be fun and will cover the basics of Argentinean Tango.  You will also benefit from reduced entry (£5 instead of £15) to the Friday evening Milonga (dance) where you can try out what you have learnt and see the Teachers opening night dance.
